Taine Berghan
I am currently a film and TV student studying at Edinburgh College for the past two years, who is based in West Lothian,. In this time span, I have grown my knowledge and skills set across a multitude of areas when it comes to all areas of media. Plus, this education has given me the opportunity to work on a wide range of productions: documentaries, short films, podcasts, experimental projects and more.
Having a natural enjoyment with paperwork and planning, pre-production roles are something I excel at. As such, these are roles and opportunities I jump at the chance of doing. In my two years of college, I have been picking these up wherever possible. My most notable role being a producer for a documentary.
Recently obtaining a Sony A7iii and Tamron 28-75mm, I have been volunteering my spare time offering photography for a local children’s charity. While this has given me more confidence in my photography skills, it has also allowed me to work with content on PhotoShop and gain an understanding with the software.
I also have a solid understanding of colour correction and editing short films/projects as well as YouTube videos. Editing using Adobe CC, my desktop is capable of processing and working with 4k footage.
